Internet Explorer 10 preview now available for download

kena try baru tau features ye..

It was little less than a month ago that Microsoft finally released Internet Explorer 9, their much anticipated refresh that finally brought robust support for HTML5 and CSS3 to the Windows-standard browser. It took Microsoft two years to make IE9, but they’re looking to half that with Internet Explorer 10… and to prove it, they’ve already released the first developer preview.

Built upon the groundwork that Internet Explorer 9 laid out, Internet Explorer 10 continues to advance HTML5 and CSS3 standards in Microsoft’s browser. It boasts some new CSS3 features including support for multi-column and grid layouts, as well as gradients, transitions, 3D transforms and strict mode.

Not bad for a few week’s work, right? And a “few weeks work” is literally true. In fact, Microsoft only started working on Internet Explorer 10 three weeks ago. However, in keeping with their recent efforts to remain accountable with web developers and standards enthusiasts, Microsoft has already pushed the Preview Platform for Internet Explorer 10 up for download over at Microsoft’s Test Drive site. Like with Internet Explorer 9, Microsoft’s goal is to release new preview versions of their work every 12 weeks, working up to an eventual release of Internet Explorer 10, simultaneous with the release of Windows 8.

Speaking of Windows 8, Microsoft demonstrated something very exciting when they showed MIX attendees in Las Vegas their initial work on IE10: IE10 running on Windows 8 running on ARM. We knew that Windows would be moving to ARM this generation to better position itself as a viable operating system for tablets, but this is the first time we’ve actually seen it running.

Very exciting indeed. Unfortunately for Windows fans, we’ll be waiting until at least 2012 to see the finished product of either IE10 or Windows 8.

TM’s International Link Faces Disruption: Are You Affected?

Patut slow je internet...

Apparently, a wide-spread international connection disruption has been reported by many local Internet users since around 1 and half hour ago especially for those who are on Streamyx and UniFi. We were not spared from it as well here at our HQ although at first we thought it was rather a minor problem until we saw quite a number of twits from local Internet users and the Broadband User-2-User section of our forums complaining about the irregular connection to US sites.

At the time this article was written, we were experiencing slow loading time on many international sites such as Facebook, Yahoo US and MSN US. In fact, a simple ping test (as shown above) to these three sites revealed quite a number of timed out response. That being said, Twitter, YouTube and Wikipedia were somehow spared from the disruption

NS bangkit bertenaga

Hoben Jang Hoben

Malaysian Internet users lead the way in paying bills online in Asia

Senang sekarang tak perlu beratur and jimat duit minyak

Internet users in Malaysia are going online to pay their bills, choosing the convenience and flexibility of paying electronically over cash or checks, according to the 2010 Visa eCommerce Consumer Monitor.

AP File Photo(AP File Photo)

The study, which surveyed 3,156 internet users in six countries in Asia Pacific, reported that Malaysian internet users reportedly spent the highest monthly average on paying bills online (RM306) over the period of a year, much higher than the regional average of RM224. This was followed by respondents from Indonesia, with a monthly average of RM266 and mainland China with RM 224.
Of the 558 respondents surveyed from Malaysia in the third quarter of last year, more than three out of five respondents (68 percent) said they had paid their bills online in the last twelve months and almost all of these respondents (98 percent) said they would continue to do so over the next six months. Of those who had not tried paying online before, 57 percent said they would consider doing so over the next six months.
The most common types of bills paid online in the past six months by Malaysian respondents were for internet access (66 percent), utilities (60 percent), mobile phone service (57 percent) and payment card bills (46 percent).

Living in Malaysia is expensive

Agaknya bila lah currency malaysia nih nak naik tinggi setanding negara luar..

If you don't know already, it's expensive to live in Malaysia, especially in Kuala Lumpur. A report shows that Malaysians have less purchasing power than many nationals elsewhere.

AP File Photo(AP File Photo)

The Malaysian Insider, an online Malaysian news website, examined the purchasing power of Malaysians in comparison to nationals of other countries. The website cited a 2010 Prices and Wages report by UBS AG, a Swiss banking giant.

Here are the highlights:

The purchasing power of KL residents is 33.8% of New Yorkers; 42% compared to London, 33.7% to Sydney, 32.6% to Los Angeles, and 31.6% to Zurich.
KL workers need to labour 22 minutes for a bread loaf. In comparison, Los Angeles counterparts take 18 minutes. In Sydney, it's 16 minutes. In Tokyo, 15 minutes. In Zurich, 12 minutes.
The Malaysian Insider also compared broadband prices in Malaysia to those in countries. Even after currency conversion, Malaysia comes out on top... in expensiveness. Here's the summary:

Kuala Lumpur - 5Mbps broadband package - RM149
London - 10Mbps broadband package - GBP13.50
Melbourne - 5-8Mbps broadband package - AUD40
New York - 7Mbps broadband package - USD41.95

Here's another tidbit from The Malaysian Insider article:
In KL, a Honda Civic is priced at RM115,000 - 20 times an auditor's average monthly earnings.
In Melbourne & London, the price is respectively AUD25,000 and GBP19,000 - 3 times an auditor's average monthly earnings in those places.

Hadramawt : Authentic Middle Eastern and Yemeni Cuisine @ Chulan Square

yummiee
l have certain food preferences, but sometimes, we need to get out of our comfort zone to find out what has our country’s multiculturalism brought to our shore.

Perhaps this new restaurant in Chulan Square would be the best place to get started. Proclaimed to be the first Yemeni restaurant in Malaysia, Hadramawt opened its doors to the public on 1st January 2008, offering an extensive array of authentic Middle Eastern and some Lebanese cuisine, with the recipes all derived from the original country.

Just for reference, Hadramawt (or Hadramaut) is a historical region of the south Arabian Peninsula along the Gulf of Aden, part of Yemen.

The ambiance was very much influenced by Arabian concept, with carved wooden motifs, colourful lamps, carpets and pictures of the real Hadramawt itself. You can choose either to sit on ground level or upstairs but according to the manager, Mr. Hamza, his patrons prefer the latter. If you think that you saw the interior somewhere before, you are right as Hadramawt was featured in the local Malay drama, Janji Diana.

Fried Kebah

Although Hadramawt does not provide set lunch or dinner, fret not as the price tags for a la carte items were surprisingly reasonable. For a good appetite-whetter, the Deep Fried Kebah (RM 12), is a good starter. Being a deep fried dish made from minced lamb and herbs, it’s crispy at the outside while remain flavourful at the inside and doesn’t have the typical strong lamb odour. The Shrimp Cocktail (RM 30) is visually appealing; boiled shelled shrimps served with lettuce and Thousand Island sauce.

Shrimp Cocktail

Fattoosh

If meat isn’t your preferred choice, how about some greens as substitute? We absolutely adore a type of Arabic salad called Fattoosh (RM 8), an interesting mix of diced tomato, green onion, fresh parsley, mint, sliced romaine lettuce, toasted pita bread and molasses. Slightly tangy but you can practically feel the freshness of the ingredients burst in your mouth!

Mixed Grill

Mixed Salad

If you wanna try the meat but not too adventurous, perhaps you can go for the Mixed Grilled Lamb and Chicken (sheesh tawooq) combination (RM 20) which somehow resembles kebab, minus the sticks. For vegetarian, Mixed Salad (RM 20) is a good choice; it basically consist of 8 types of vegetarian dishes in one platter such as Fattoosh, Mutabal, Baba Ghanog, Hummos and Tehenah salad. Most of them are served in the grinded form which looks like a paste to go with pita bread except Fattoosh.

Haneed Lamb

Also worth mention are the Haneed Lamb (RM 21) and also Fahsa (RM 20), being both a lamb dish. The Haneed Lamb was firstly wrapped in aluminium foil with spices and slowly cooked over charcoal, resulting a very succulent and tender lamb meat and served on a bed of fluffy Mendy rice. The Fahsa on the other hand, is a stew made of lamb cutlets with lamb soup, spices and "holba" (an ingredient which looks like cheese after it’s cooked) in a deep pot made of stone.

Lukisan hidup 3D

MEMUKAU... Wenner menghasilkan Northwest Fantasy pada April 2010 di San Francisco untuk Lembaga Pelancongan British Columbia.

MEMUKAU...

Matteo Manassero - Maybank Malaysian Open Champion

Sunday, 17 April 2011

Matteo Manassero earned himself a €288,465 birthday present with his second European Tour win at the Maybank Malaysian Open.
The Italian, who turns 18 on Tuesday, started the celebrations early as a closing 68 helped him finish 16 under and see off challenges from Grégory Bourdy and Rory McIlroy.
“I couldn’t imagine anything better – going back home to celebrate my 18th birthday and my second victory on The European Tour,” he said, after climbing to 35th on the Official World Golf Ranking.
“I’ll have a big dinner and celebrate both.
“It’s great to be able to celebrate both together. I’m just now concentrating on being in the top 50 now and getting into all the Majors. I’m very happy about this achievement.”
Having become The European Tour's youngest ever winner in Spain last year, Manassero now holds the top two positions on that list - Danny Lee was seven months older when he won the Johnnie Walker Classic.
He is also the second teenager in a row to win the event, following Noh Seung-yul's triumph 12 months ago.
The leaders had 27 holes to play on the final day after six hours of weather delays earlier in the week, with McIlroy immediately extending his two shot overnight advantage to three with a birdie at the par five tenth.
But the 21 year old Northern Irishman was passed by Manassero and Alex Noren before the end of the third round after dropping two shots at the short 15th.
Manassero, on the other hand, birdied both par threes on the back nine for a 67 that left him 12 under with a round to go alongside Noren - who had driven the green at the par four 16th and eagled.
Bourdy produced his second electric start of the weekend when the final round teed off - having birdied five of the first six in his third round he reeled off four in a row from the third.
A dropped shot at the eighth and a double bogey three holes later looked to have cost the Frenchman, but the three-time European Tour winner posted three birdies on the way in to set the clubhouse target at 15 under.
McIlroy was right in contention with three birdies in four holes around the turn, but three-putted the 12th for a double bogey which looked to have ended his chances.
Manassero had one birdie courtesy of a drawn approach to six feet at the second in an outward 35, but when he holed his approach to the par five tenth for eagle he was level with Bourdy.
An eight foot birdie putt at the next put him ahead, but he missed a six footer for par at the next.
He coolly converted a downhill ten footer at the 14th that left him needing to par the last four, and the former British Amateur Champion belied his tender years as he calmly set about the job without any drama.
“It feels amazing - it’s a great achievement,” said Manassero. “As I always say I could never have expected it all to have one win before I was 18 and now I’ve got two.
“I had a really good week from the beginning. I didn’t miss many shots apart from the second round when I didn’t play great but I was still able to finish well and get in contention. I had a really good weekend and managed to get the win.
“It’s a great achievement after just 11 months of professional golf. It’s a great achievement for myself and gets me into the Majors – I just missed Augusta but playing the other three will be fantastic. I’m really proud of that and the next target will be winning another tournament and keeping the momentum going. It’s going well and we’ll see what happens."
Manassero also paid tribute to Seve Ballesteros, who he described as his golfing hero.
“He is and will always be,” he added. “I grew up watching Costantino, Seve and Tiger. I thought Seve was the kind of player I wanted to be.
“The crowd was cheering for him and he was different to everyone else. He is a great person and a symbol of what a person should be. He sent me a letter after I won in Spain. That was nice.”
McIlroy briefly threatened to mount a storming comeback, holing from eight feet for birdie at the 16th and then hitting a stunning approach to within three feet at the next as he closed the gap to one.
Needing a birdie at the par five last he was on the green in three but his birdie putt never threatened the cup and by three-putting he finished third behind Bourdy.
“At this moment I’m pretty disappointed but it was a good week,” said McIlroy. “I started off really well in the tournament. To shoot the scores that I did considering the travelling is a pretty good effort.
“That little stretch of birdies were good (at the 14th, 16th and 17th). I knew I needed them.
“It was unfortunate on the last. I thought it was a good drive but I hit it on the upslope of the bunker and hit an eight iron into the green and it was a difficult putt.
“It has been a good week, I enjoyed coming to Kuala Lumpur. I’m disappointed with the result but everything else was positive. I’m proud of myself at how I picked myself up from last week and the way I came back on the back nine today.”
“Matteo is fantastic. He is a great talent -to get two wins on the European Tour before your 18th birthday is pretty special. He is great and we’ve known he is a great player. He deserves it.”
Spain’s Rafael Cabrera Bello matched Bourdy’s closing 67 to finish tied fourth with Noren, while Masters Tournament winner Charl Schwartzel improved to 11th over the weekend with rounds of 67 and 70.

Adoiyai..macam2 hal..

Ian Young said his life is in ruins after he spent £12,000 to get his Malaysian wife Fatine a visa - only for her to leave him immediately after it was granted

A transsexual who walked out on her British husband two weeks after he helped her win the right to stay in this country has explained her decision to leave.

Malaysian-born Fatine Young – who was born Mohammed Fazdil Min Bahari – spoke out after her husband Ian told yesterday how the couple split after he spent £12,000 on helping win the visa battle.

Fatine, 38, has defended her actions, saying she made major sacrifices to move to the UK and live with the school caretaker, who she claims eventually pushed her away with his behaviour.

Fatine said: 'In the end he was totally ignoring me. It's horrible when the man you love treats you like that. I've sacrificed my life because of him.'

Mr Young admitted he had not treated her as well as he could have done.

The night before she left, Fatine said the couple had a 'massive argument', with her husband storming out of the house they shared in Pear Tree, leaving her alone.

'He left me without any money,' she said.

Mr Young previously told how he was hounded out of jobs at three Derby schools by angry parents because of his love for Fatine, who was born a man.

The saga left the 32-year-old jobless and homeless, and at one stage he tried to take his own life by downing a bottle of pills.

Schwartzel menang The Masters

- AP

Say Hello To The BlackBerry Bold Touch

 macam menarik je...tungguuu

Looks like all the rumours and speculation have finally been given a face. This is the BlackBerry Bold Touch as fondled by the lucky people at BGR. After a slew of renderings and even a tutorial video for the touchscreen features, you can finally see the prototype in all its glory. Looking like a lovechild between the Bold and Curve 3G, the Bold Touch is certainly is a pretty phone. Combining the spacious Bold Keyboard which I have come to love as well as a touchscreen which at first glance looks way too small to be of much use, I'd say the Bold Touch looks like a phone to look forward to.

BGR has said that the phone should be released around June/July with an announcement at BlackBerry world. Hit up the source link for more pictures.

Come on Tiger

Tiger roars at Augusta National(update)

AUGUSTA, Georgia (AP) — Rory McIlroy and Jason Day made the Masters look like child's play over two days, trading flawless rounds that gave them hope of becoming the youngest player in a green jacket since Tiger Woods.
They still face a long weekend at Augusta National — and now, a once daunting figure.
Woods came roaring back to life late Friday afternoon with a 31 on the back nine that featured a daring shot off the pine straw and an 8-iron he carved around the trees on the final hole for his ninth birdie of the day, and his best round at the Masters in six years.
McIlroy, the 21-year-old from Northern Ireland with a bounce in his step, made his first bogey of the tournament on the par-3 12th but otherwise was solid as ever for a 3-under 69. That gave him a two-shot lead over Day, the 23-year-old Australian who showed off some of his fearless play with a bogey-free 64.
Tiger Woods pumps his fist after a birdie on the 18th hole during the second round of the Masters golf tournament Friday. - AP
Even as Woods was starting to make a charge toward his 66 to finish three shots back, McIlroy didn't seem overly concerned.
"If you start thinking about anyone else here, if you let your mind wander at all, it can cost you a couple of shots," McIlroy said. "I'll be focusing on my targets and focusing on where I want my ball to go on the greens, and that's all I can do. I don't really care what anyone else does. I don't need to know.
"It will be great for the tournament if he's up there," he said. "But I'm two shots ahead and I'm in a better position."
Besides, the greater mystery might be Woods.
He has teased before in the 17 months since his last win. Even a year ago at Augusta, he was two shots back going into the weekend and never got any closer. The 14-time major champion has not been able to string together two great rounds since he made his return from a sex scandal last year at the Masters.
"I'm just trying to put myself in the mix come Sunday," Woods said. "It's irrelevant who's there. My whole job is to get myself there with a chance with nine holes to go. That's what we've always done. And I've been successful at it in the past by doing it that way."
This image made with a fisheye lens shows from left; Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland, Jason Day of Australia and Rickie Fowler putting on the 18th green during the second round of the Masters golf tournament Friday. - AP
If his name on the leaderboard means anything, Saturday might be a time to find out.
And if the next generation of players is serious about becoming a star, the Masters would be a great place to prove it.
"I've played two good rounds to get myself here in this position," said Day, who is making his Masters debut. "Obviously, I'm not going to back down because I've got lack of experience."
McIlroy was at 10-under 134, the lowest 36-hole score at the Masters since 2005. He has tied for third in the last two majors, although this will be his first time in the final group on the weekend at one of golf's biggest event.
It looked as though he might build a big lead going into the weekend until he stalled on the back nine, and now 10 players are within five shots of the lead on an Augusta National course where positions can change quickly.

K.J. Choi three-putted for bogey on the 18th for a 70 and put him tied with Woods at 7-under 137. Another shot back was former U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy, who overcame a four-putt double bogey and a three-putt bogey on par 5s for another 69. He was tied with big-hitting Alvaro Quiros, who had a 73.
Fred Couples, the 51-year-old wonder at Augusta, somehow got into the mix, bad back and all. Couples shot a 68 and was in the group at 139 that included former PGA champion Y.E. Yang (72), 22-year-old Rickie Fowler (69) and Lee Westwood, the runner-up at Augusta last year who got back into the mix with a 67.
Experience never hurts at the Masters.
"I'm playing my 12th one. I don't know how many they are playing, but I don't think it's that many," Westwood said. "I've been in the situation before, probably more recently than anybody around this golf course. I think it's a big advantage."
Then again, Colin Montgomerie said the same thing when he was paired with a 21-year-old Woods in 1997 going into the weekend. Woods blew him away with a 65 and was on his way to a 12-shot victory.
It doesn't figure to be that easy for McIlroy, even as easy as he has made it look over two days.
His swing looked strong as ever when he pounded a driver on the fifth hole, leaving him a wedge that he hit to 6 feet for birdie, and another big tee shot set up a sand wedge to the back pin on No. 9 to 4 feet. He bounced back from his lone bogey with a 6-iron into about 10 feet for eagle on the 13th, though he missed the putt.
McIlroy never put himself under much pressure. He was having so much fun that he wasn't even paying attention to Day, one of his playing partners, who was slashing out of the pine straw and firing at flags, piling up one birdie after another.
"We had a lot of fun out there," McIlroy said. "I didn't even realize Jason was going so good. I saw he was 6 under on the 15th and thought, 'This is going to be a decent round.' We just fed off each other. The crowd got behind us."
McIlroy, Day and Fowler were quite the group — ages 21, 22 and 23. The more important number was 18 birdies they made. McIlroy's only regret was not making as many putts as he would have liked.
"I can't really complain," he said. "I'm in the lead going into the weekend at the Masters."
He's just not in the clear.
Woods made sure of that with three straight birdies around the turn — all of them inside 4 feet — a clutch par save on the 11th and three consecutive birdies starting on the 13th, again all of them from close range.
"I played myself back in the tournament," Woods said. "I'm three back, and we've got a long way to go. It's going to be fun."
Phil Mickelson has far more work to do.
The defending champion played more aggressively, but failed to save par too often when he missed the green. Mickelson also failed to birdie the par 5s on the back nine and had to settle for a 72 that put him eight shots behind.
"There's a lot of golf left in this tournament, and I'm going to be making a run at him and the other guys ahead of me," Mickelson said.
Asked what gives him confidence he can make a move, Mickelson replied, "Three green jackets."
The cut was at 1-over 145, matching the lowest ever at Augusta. Among those going home are the last three major champions — Martin Kaymer, now in danger of losing his No. 1 ranking; Louis Oosthuizen and Graeme McDowell.
Woods' 66 was his best round at Augusta since he shot 65 in the third round of 2005, which also is the last time he won the Masters. The two players in front of him have only three wins between them, none in a major.
But that's the thing with so many kids. They don't seem to care.
"I'm in the field. I'm in position. I have a chance to win," Fowler said. "I think any place is a good place for a first win, and I would love it to be here."-AP

Earlier report
AUGUSTA, Georgia (AP) — The fist kept pumping. The cheers kept growing. The ball kept dropping.
In the fading sunlight of Augusta National, Tiger Woods finally looked like himself again.
Rory McIlroy goes to the weekend at the Masters with a two-stroke lead, a worthy reward for two superb days of golf by the 21-year-old from Northern Ireland.
But all eyes will be on the guy who's three shots back, in a position that used to be more familiar. Woods shot a 6-under 66 Friday, his best round at the Masters since he captured the last of his four green jackets in 2005.
"I've played myself back in the championship," he said.
Woods hasn't shot this low at the Masters since his 65 in the third round of the '05 tournament when he went on to beat Chris DiMarco in a playoff.
A lot has changed since then. Woods is mired in the longest winless streak of his career — 20 tournaments over 17 months — and he's still dogged by a sex scandal that ended his marriage and tarnished his image.
After a sluggish start to the second round, Woods got going with three straight birdies around the turn, a perilous par save at the 11th, then strung together three more birdies through the middle of the back nine.
Woods just missed making it four in a row, pushing a slick putt at No. 16 wide of the hole. But he ended with a flourish, knocking his approach from under the trees to within 10 feet of the pin. He rolled that one in and pumped his fist one last time.
"Anytime you shoot 66 in a major, it's going to be good," Woods said. "I'm very pleased about that. Very pleased."
Rory McIlroy fretted about an errant chip that nearly slid into the water, a few putts that didn't fall in the cup on the back nine. That's about it.
The shaggy-haired kid put together another strong round, shooting a 69 that left him at 10-under 134 midway through the year's first major.
"I drove it good. I gave myself a lot of opportunities. I just didn't make as many putts as I would've liked on the back nine," McIlroy said. "But I can't really complain. I'm in the lead going to the weekend at the Masters."
He's clearly gotten over any bad memories from last year's British Open, where he opened with a 63 and fell apart the next day in a howling wind to shoot 80.
McIlroy went 29 holes before he made his first bogey at the picturesque 12th hole, where his tee shot plopped into a bunker and he couldn't get up and down. Otherwise, he showed a maturity beyond his years.
Among those he will be trying to hold off is Woods, who played in the next-to-last group and got off to a rough start. His very first tee shot found a bunker, leading to bogey. He took another with a weak chip at No. 3, the shortest par-4 on the course. Then another with three putts at the seventh.
Then, suddenly, he resembled the Tiger of old.
"I just kept staying patient," Woods said. "That's all I was trying to do."
McIlroy will be paired in the final group Saturday with one of his playing partners from the first two days, Jason Day.
The 23-year-old Australian is another of golf's up-and-comers, and he showed no respect for a course he's playing for the first time this week. Day made eight birdies in the best round of the tournament, a 64 that sent him surging up the leaderboard. He's only two shots behind McIlroy's 10-under 134 total.
The third member of their group, 22-year-old Californian Rickie Fowler, also was in contention. He posted a 69 — meaning the threesome combined for a 14-under score — and was in a group at 139.
"It was fun playing with Rory and Rickie out there," Day said. "I can't even remember shooting 8 under. It was just a lot of great golf and I'm looking forward to the weekend."
Of course, this is all new to him.
"I'm sure I will be very nervous," Day said. "I'll try to relax tonight and just go out there and have fun."
While the focus at this Masters has been on youth, let's not forget the older guys.
Fred Couples, the 1992 champion, was in contention for the second year in a row. Even with a bad back, he strolled around the course as though he owns the place on the way to a 68 that took his score to 139.
"I know the course more than most people," he said, "and that helps."
The 51-year-old Couples made a serious run at another green jacket last year. He led after the first round and wound up sixth, seven strokes behind winner Phil Mickelson.
This time, he opened with a 71 and really turned it on for Day 2, making five birdies and two nifty saves at the end of his round. If Couples can keep it going for two more days — no certainty, given his chronic back problems — he'll have another shot at becoming the oldest major champion ever.
"Can I still win?" Couples mused. "Yeah, I think I can go out there tomorrow and shoot a very good score. Then I'd have to do something crazy on Sunday."
The defending champ has a lot of work to do.
Mickelson scrambled for a 70 in the first round despite hitting fewer fairways than anyone in the 99-player field. His erratic play continued Friday, forcing him to spend more time saving pars than chasing birdies.
"I left too many chances out there," he said. "We've got the weekend to look forward to, and fortunately, I'm not in that bad of a spot. If I can shoot a good round, I can get back in it."
The world's top-ranked player was heading home.
PGA champion Martin Kaymer played better after an opening 78, but even a closing birdie for a 72 wasn't nearly enough to end his Augusta misery. He's never made the cut in the year's first major, missing out for the fourth time in a row.
In fact, the last three major winners failed to advance. U.S. Open winner Graeme McDowell and British Open champ Louis Oosthuizen also failed to make the cut.
Leading second-round scores Friday at the Masters Tournament, a PGA Tour event played at the 7,435-yard, par-72 Augusta National Golf Club (a-amateur):

Rory McIlroy 65-69—134
Jason Day 72-64—136
K.J. Choi 67-70—137
Tiger Woods 71-66—137
Geoff Ogilvy 69-69—138
Alvaro Quiros 65-73—138
Yong-Eun Yang 67-72—139
